The Question is HTML a programming language? Or what is HTML? Is not enough complicated?

HTML is not a programming language according to my opinion.

Here are some functions of programming languages.

A programming language can make decisions about what instructions they should execute how and when and what to execute in the program.
A programming language can process data and make decisions about the program to execute.

HTML is a Hyper Text Markup Language, HTML was not designed to use a programming language, it was developed to make hypertext and make web pages.

People think that it is a programming language even when you asked from some developer they may tell you that they learn the first language was the Html language but it is not a programming language actually, As mentioned above a programming language can make decisions about but in HTML case there is nothing to make decisions it is an only markup language that can build web pages.

If you want to comparison HTML to a programming language then just see for example Python language or C, C++, Java these language are best examples of programming languages when you compare these languages then you will find that HTML is not a programming language, after comparing HTML with programming languages you will be at the point that who stupid said that HTML is a programming language

Conclusion

You will find that HTML is not a programming language instead of the programming language it is a Markup language. After the comparison, you will find that HTML is markup language that has tags only nothing more nothing to compare with the real programming languages.
